Archer Place was built in 2008 by Barbaro Construction. The masonry structure features two floors of heated garages, a lobby, and 7 residential floors. Vertical transportation is via two state of the art Schindler A400 high speed traction elevators. The association seeks to be known as a quiet smoke free building.

A few milestones include:

In 2009, security cameras were installed throughout the building. Enlan Management began serving.
In 2010, Modine gas heaters were installed in the garages.
In 2013, with the assistance of Alderman Solis’ office, the City of Chicago built a brand new $750,000 street including new sewers and lights.
In 2014, the land near the railroad tracks was shaped and a ledge was installed to help the water flow away from the road. Additionally, a concrete pad was poured for the garbage container.
In 2015, a membrane coating was installed on the Upper Level (UL) garage – to prevent dripping to the lower level.
In 2015 and 2016 -- new overhead garage doors were installed.
